Cooling system overhaul
BMW cooling systems are built largely from plastic — water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks, and radiators that grow brittle and crack in Arizona heat. We replace the system as a unit so you're not back next month for the next failure.
VANOS solenoid service
Rough idle, lost low-end torque, and a stored timing code usually mean clogged VANOS solenoids or worn seals on the variable valve timing system. We clean or rebuild the VANOS and restore the throttle response BMW is known for.
Oil filter housing & valve cover leaks
The oil filter housing gasket and valve cover gasket are the classic N20, N55, and N63 oil leaks, often dripping onto the belt or hot exhaust. We reseal them with the updated gaskets.
Timing chain (N20 / N47)
Early N20 four-cylinder and N47 diesel timing chains and guides can stretch and fail. We listen for the tell-tale rattle and replace the chain, guides, and tensioner before it destroys the engine.
Charge pipe & turbo service
Boost faults on N54, N55, and B58 turbo engines — cracked plastic charge pipes, wastegate rattle, and tired turbos. We fit a reinforced charge pipe and service or replace the turbos.
Module coding & battery registration
BMWs are dense with electronics. We trace battery drain, comfort-access, and warning-light faults with ISTA, then code or program modules and register new batteries so the car accepts the parts correctly.
Front suspension rebuild
Worn control-arm bushings, thrust arms, and shock mounts cause clunks, wandering, and uneven tire wear. We rebuild the front end and reset the chassis systems.
