IMS bearing replacement
The intermediate-shaft (IMS) bearing on M96/M97 flat-six engines — 996, 997.1, and the 986/987 Boxster and Cayman — is the best-known Porsche failure point. We inspect it and, where needed, upgrade the bearing while the transmission is out.
Rear main seal (RMS) leaks
Oil weeping from the bell-housing is almost always a failing rear main seal. We reseal it — usually alongside the IMS and clutch — so you only pay the labor to open the engine once.
Bore scoring diagnosis
Cylinder bore scoring on water-cooled flat-sixes shows up as a cold-start tick, high oil consumption, and a smoky exhaust. We borescope the cylinders and walk you through repair-or-rebuild options before anything is committed.
Cayenne & Panamera coolant pipes
The plastic-and-epoxy coolant pipes nestled in the V8 valley crack and weep with heat-cycling. We replace them with the welded-aluminum fix so the failure doesn't return.
Air-oil separator (AOS)
A failed AOS causes white smoke, a rough idle, and high oil use on 911 and Boxster flat-sixes. It's a common fault we diagnose and replace quickly with OE parts.
PDK & Tiptronic service
PDK dual-clutch and Tiptronic gearboxes need their fluid and filters serviced on schedule. We use the correct OE fluids and complete the required PIWIS adaptations afterward.
PASM & air suspension
Sagging ride height or a PASM fault on Cayenne, Panamera, and 991/992 air suspension — we diagnose the struts, compressor, and valve block and replace only what's actually failed.
